Timber & Tools is about making useful things in a workshop that fits your life. The site began with practical tool reviews and the decisions involved in equipping a home shop. We are rebuilding that collection around clearer buying advice and the tools readers already own.

What you will find here

Our original owner accounts include the Bosch 4100 table saw and Bosch RA1171 router table. Those observations are distinguished from guides based on manufacturer documentation. An editorial update does not mean a new hands-on test or a longer period of ownership.

How we approach recommendations
